WWW Wednesday – June wrap up

It’s time for WWW Wednesday.

This meme is hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words.  Book devourers I mean, lovers can answer these questions, and then share them with other fellow book devourers lovers

Why not join in? Just answer the following three questions in a post and then put a link to that post in the comments over at Taking on a World of Words.

This is a weekly meme, but I’ve decided to do mine monthly, because I usually never read this much!

What have I finished reading in June?

Close to you: by Kara Isaac Book review is here. I devoured this little romantic comedy pretty quickly (for me anyway). It was hilarious, and romantic and cute)

Meant to be mine: by Becky Wade A book I devoured in 4 days!! So sweet.

Temperance’s trial: by Hallee Bridgeman Book review is here

Homeland’s hope: by Hallee Bridgeman  Book review here:

Charity’s code: by Hallee Bridgeman Book review is here:

A parcel for Prudence: by Hallee Bridgeman

All the four Virtues and Valor books were fun to read. I have felt that 2 through 4 were much better written, (why? idk?) and I’m excited to start the next one but I’m taking a break so I can finish a beta read. I didn’t particularly think the first one was as well written. But it’s ironic, because every story after Temperance’s Trial relies on the first story, which sets all the events in motion. It’s an 8 book serialized historical fiction series in which all books connect. Like I said, I am really enjoying it.

Guys and girls, I never read this much!! In fact, my husband has turned into Mr. Obnoxious, because I’m sitting on my phone reading every spare second of the day instead of paying attention to him LOL. He’ll be sitting there playing video games, and ask me “Why are you so quiet?”

“I’m reading,”

“Talk to me,”

As if talking to him while he plays video games even works. lol.

Well – I suppose it does help that the Virtues and Valor historical fiction books are all novellas and each one took me about a day to read, sometimes 2 If I found myself very busy with life.

What am I currently reading?

Amber Wake:

Smoke and Mirrors: A collection of 8 romantic suspense novellas.

What will I be reading next?

I have been a terrible beta reading friend. I couldn’t help it. Google Books gave me $5 FREE!! which equaled the exact amount of a Becky Wade book (Meant to be Mine)  So I bought it and devoured it in 4 days. “headdesk” But it was sooo good lol.

No more books for me for a little while. I am going to finish up a beta read of a fantasy novel before I read anymore.

What are you reading? let me know in the comments! Leave me your WWW link if you have one!
